ALLIX ACCOUNTIQ

Before you rely on a figure

Terms & important notices

AccountIQ is a pilot for organising records and preparing estimates. Review these notices before using a report or filing a return.

01Terms of useAccounts, records and permitted use

Access and authority

Use requires a sign-in and an approved AccountIQ registration. Keep your sign-in secure, use your own account and provide accurate details. If you create a business or company portfolio or enter another person’s details, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and have a proper basis to provide their personal data.

Your records

You are responsible for the entries, classifications, dates, supporting documents and decisions you confirm. Check AI suggestions before posting them. Files saved in Documents or attached to finance records are stored privately in AccountIQ. Keep your own copies of important evidence.

Separate records

Business and company records stay in separate finance journals. A Business portfolio uses its book profit and the tax adjustment you enter to form a provisional sole proprietor or partnership share for the individual tax estimate. Company invoices post to the company finance journal and linked company tax estimate. Reconcile all records when preparing accounts or a tax return.

Use and account changes

Do not use AccountIQ for unlawful activity, false records, or unauthorised access. ALLIX may restrict access where an account is misused. This pilot may change as rules and features are updated. Export the records you need before deleting your AccountIQ data or losing access.

02DisclaimersTax, SST, AI and reports

Planning information

Calculations and answers are for planning and record keeping. They are not audited accounts, a filed return, or personalised tax, accounting or legal advice. Have a qualified accountant or licensed tax agent review important decisions and returns before external use or filing.

Accuracy and changing rules

Results depend on the information you enter, the selected period, and the rules available in AccountIQ. Missing or incorrect entries, unusual facts, or later changes in law can change the outcome. AI can misread documents or produce incorrect explanations; you must verify each proposal.

SST and filing

The SST tracker uses the treatment and rate you select. It does not determine whether your company must register, whether a supply is taxable or exempt, or whether a particular rate applies. It does not prepare or submit SST-02, income tax returns, payments or official accounts. Check deadlines and amounts in the relevant government portal.

Reports and record retention

PDFs reflect the entries available when you generate them and are marked unaudited. Keep your own source records and backups. Malaysian tax record retention requirements remain your responsibility even if you delete data from AccountIQ. See LHDN record guidance and MySST.

03Privacy & dataWhat is collected and your choices

Data and purpose

AccountIQ collects your name, MyKad number, mobile and sign-in email; business type, name, registration number and stated partnership share; company registration, director and optional SST details; your invoice logo, business address and payment instructions; customer names and contact details you enter on invoices; the finance, tax and payment reminder records you enter; and files you choose to save or attach. It uses these details to verify registrations, limit duplicate accounts, maintain portfolios, send reminders, and prepare figures and reports. Only provide another person’s details when authorised.

Who handles it

ALLIX administers the service and uses a hosting and sign-in provider to run the site and store your account, records, invoice logo and files you save or attach. When email delivery is enabled, Resend sends verification codes and payment and invoice-due reminders to your sign-in address; an invoice notice includes its number, customer, amount and due date. If AI features are enabled and you use them, the document or question you submit is sent to Anthropic for processing. Saving a file without AI or attaching it to a finance record does not send it to AI. Your account’s stored MyKad number is not automatically included in AI requests, but a document or question you submit may itself contain personal data.

Visibility, retention and deletion

MyKad numbers are masked in ordinary account screens and approval requests; full values are held in restricted account records. Active AccountIQ records and saved files remain while the account is open unless you delete them. The Account page can delete AccountIQ records and saved files, but deleting them does not necessarily close your separate sign-in account. Export anything you need first.

Staying signed in

This device stores a secure sign-in cookie for up to 365 days so you can return without signing in again. Sign Out clears it. Your sign-in can end sooner if you clear browser data or the sign-in service revokes the session.

Your choices

You can review and correct account details in the app and ask ALLIX about access, correction or withdrawal of consent through your usual contact channel. The Personal Data Protection Commissioner explains data subject rights under Malaysia’s PDPA.
